This policy covers the Awana app for iPhone and Android and this website, awana.rest. The short version: your data stays with you.

The Awana app

Awana stores all of your data on your device. There is no account and no sign-in. We do not collect, sell or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. Backups are files you create and control yourself.

• Your tasks, progress, character and rewards are saved in local storage on your device only.
• The app works fully offline and does not need an internet connection for any core feature.
• If you turn on reminders, your device schedules them locally. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them.
• If you export a backup, the file is saved where you choose. Nobody else receives a copy unless you share it.
• Deleting the app removes its data from your device.

This website

awana.rest sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. It loads no third-party resources: fonts, images and scripts are all served from this site. There are no forms and no accounts, so we do not receive any personal data when you visit.

If you choose a light or dark theme in the footer, that preference is stored in your own browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Children

Awana is designed for players aged 13 and over. Because the app collects no personal data, there is no data about any user — of any age — for us to hold.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Changes will never reduce the protections described here without being clearly announced in the app.
